This is the way to get to an Orioles game. Seven bucks each way, no traffic, fairly roomy seats and you can sleep. Beats driving! And yes, I'm wearing a Washington Nationals hat to an Orioles game.
It started as four large men cramming themselves into a Jetta and driving 1,400 miles in the name of baseball. It went Pittsburgh to Cleveland to Detroit to Cincinnati and then home. We stopped in the MLB ballpark in each city and watched four games.
But then it became more than that. One of us (A) realized he really liked to write about baseball and ballparks. He wanted to write moreabout baseball (and he liked to take pictures, too). So he did -- and what better place than an already established blog with a name that didn't really apply to what he wanted to do.
So here it is -- Ballpark Tour 2008 -- moving on, to other things. But always about baseball. We promise.
